Mood:  bright
Topic: Affiliate Marketing

Today I have a quick Affiliate Marketing strategy . Affiliate Marketing is selling products for other companies.  I'll try not to make it to wordy.

Doing research is critical in all areas of IM. For instance, in order to create multiple streams of income, you will have to research into who your market is , so that you will know your market .  This way you will discover how to sell to that market faster.

You should be cognizant of the fact that like everything attached to IM, there is no magic bullet  or "Yellow Brick Road" to success and Financial Solvency . If you want to work steadily and build a stable business there may be less stressful ways of doing it than IM.

Now that we have that part out of the way, it's very important to know the products that you have decided to market. A lot of schools of thought on this subject say go out and buy the product first. If you go this way, at least sign up for the product first , and get a sale when you buy it.

Buying all those products out there can get expensive though. You will end up with a bunch of stuff for EBAY I guess also.

Selling other peoples stuff requires that you get to know their marketing parameters and systems , as well as their products. You will want to pick affiliate products that are directly related to your sites domain name if you can. Google likes it that way and will reward you with more visitors.

You will want to sell something your visitors are interested in , of course and would likely purchase after you have supplied them with valuable information about those products.

Finding a product is one of the hardest jobs you will face as an IM'er.

The time tested way to find potential products and partners is to join the well established major affiliate networks on the web.

I am talking about Affiliate Networks like Commission Junction, LinkShare, Amazon, ClickBank, Shareasale and others. These networks have been around for years and offer excellent payment structures and commission rates.

Now, there is much to be said about these networks and for more insight into how they work , my Internet university link is on the right for those that would like the info. There is a 30 day trial, so you can drop out any time in the 30 days and get a refund. So give it a try.

Remember , comments and critisism's are welcome.
